MIKE FLYNN Mike started at Radio City in 1976 and did the Nightowl programme until 1978, when the call of Radio Wales came which meant a daily show for 10 years. During his time at City (and right up to now) Mike had a property company and which now looks after him in his retirement. Mike’s big love is flying, both fixed wing and helicopters. Mike still remembers one of the adverts he used to play at City “Unbeatable on Merseyside....Skellys Ford World”, oh and don’t get him started on the Canadian Talent Library music!!!!!!!! |

ROY SAATCHI Roy runs his own consultancy business, specialising in broadcast journalism training. Roy is still an active television producer, working with students at Salford University to make television current affairs programmes for Channel M, Manchester's city TV station. Roy is a trustee of the National Library for the Blind and on the Board of Governors of Manchester Metropolitan University. JOHN O HARA After Radio City, John went onto become programme Director at Great Yorkshire Gold, Great North Radio in the North East and Radio Aire in Leeds. He then became Managing Director of atlantic 252, before moving to London's Capital Radio where he ran the FM Network of stations in Scotland, Birmingham, Oxford, South Wales, Sussex, Kent and Hampshire. John left the UK a few years ago to follow up his passion for sailing. He now lives and sails in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. |
