EMISON

EMISON-Logo-

EMISON was the jingle division of EMI, they produced the 1977 jingle package through their in-house
composer Jeremy Rose. Again with the relaxation
of the rules with the IBA and the musicians union, EMISON went the same way as other British jingle houses.

STANDARD SOUND PRODUCTIONS LIMITED

Standard-Sound-Logo

After coming off the fence about which jingle package was the best, I now admit that this jingle package introduced on the 26th March 1983 is Radio City's best package. although the name 'Standard' is now defunct, Muff (John) Murfin, the owner is still producing jingles with Tom Merriman, and Muff also owns 6 radio stations. There is more about The Standard Sound Jingles within this website.

THE SUE MANNING JINGLE COMPANY

Sue-Manning-Logo

This jingle company is now defunct, as many British jingle companies became in the 1980s when the IBA and the musicians union made amendments to, and relaxed their agreement which meant that the US jingle companies could make in-roads into the British Radio market.
Sue Manning jingles produced the 1979 jingle package.
